QUEEN’S PARK – The McGuinty Liberals have refused to provide northern York Region residents any assurance they will have access to the doctors and health care they need.
Julia Munro, PC MPP for York North and Critic for Municipal Affairs, today condemned Liberal legislation to reform the Planning Act in hearings before the General Government Committee.
With the unveiling of the Liberal government’s first budget, the Province of Ontario has started back down the slippery slope towards a staggering economy, job loss and recession. Despite the more than 230 promises made by the Liberals in the last election, they have charted a new course that will see taxes increase more than 20 times over the next year, and the provincial debt rise by $12 billion by 2007
Julia questioned the Transportation Minister in the Legislature, asking him to confirm his committment to funding and the construction of the 404 extension.
